On Thursday we (Ben, Andrew and I) met Aunty Claire at Ikea for a little shopping. Aunty Claire is expecting a baby and her belly is growing rather large – it is beautiful. Ben took quite a fascination with her belly. He would rub and pat it all the while with a knowing smile on his face. Does he know his little cousin is in there or is it just something nice to play with? Anyhow we await the arrival of their little bundle with excitement. Ben can’t wait to meet his cousin.

Ben’s Little Mates
Benjamin is lucky enough to have met two great little mates, Joseph and Jayden. They met at playgroup. Joseph and Jayden have recently turned one. We attended their birthday parties. Ben loved it. Joseph’s party was in the park and Jayden’s at his home. To be honest I enjoyed the parties just as much as Ben. The cake….the presents…. the games…… the people…. we love it all. We are sooooooo close!
Ben has been pushing himself up on one knee and one foot and raising his arms in the air trying to stand alone. He is so close but not quite there. Any day now he will be on two feet. But hey…….why hurry when I can walk holding onto things!!

Hats…… bowls……everything on the head!
Benjamin has taken to putting things on his head. He even pats his head and points when he see someone with a hat on. This makes shopping lots of fun. The pictures really speak for themselves.
First Haircut
Benjamin had his first haircut today at 15 months. He still doesn’t have much hair at the front but the back was getting messy. I do hope that we haven’t lost all his curls!!!
