I thought I would do something lovely for Andrew to say thanks for looking after me the last couple of weeks. I know the way to Andrew’s heart is through baked goods! So I thought I would make his all time favorite …… lamingtons. Lets just say I had the best intentions and I am still searching for the perfect lamington recipe. The sponge was very heavy and the chocolate sauce……ewwww! My first attempt was not so successful. I’m hoping to redeem myself on the second attempt. Anyone have a good recipe?
A+ for effort though B. Can’t help you with the recipe though, maybe our friend Mr Google, if no one comes up with a good one. Andrew is a lucky boy. Isn’t that funny, the way to Philba’s heart is also through baked goods

Belinda the Junior Masterchef book has a great recipe for lamingtons that my niece made the other day and they were excellent.
