Farewell Favourite First Home

In a mad rush starting on the 30th December 2009, we:
1. stumbled upon a new(er) bigger home (even though we weren’t looking),
2. looked,
3. made an offer and signed a contract to buy (oh my god, nerve racking),
4. same day showed our home to a prospective buyer,
5. next day signed a contract to sell

We are now past the craziness and into the new house. We will not be forgetting our first home, as it was a little ripper (and was right next door to the best neighbours in the world). We have posted a lot of stories and photos in the past, but here is the last batch we (Belinda) took for use on the interweb real estate site.

  1. I loved this home. It was warm and welcoming. Many special family memories. I hope the new owners love it just as much.

  2. Wow great news Fantastic you were able to sell your house so quick, where is the new one and would love to see some photos of it also.
Sorry we havent been in touch much just hectic here as well.
Best wishes for the new home

  3. What were the chances of getting a photo of the kitchen without a memorable message written on the etcha sketch!

  4. Quick movers is a mild description – Just goes to show when the motivation is there, anything can be achieved. Wow. Some lovely shots and the colours really make the photos stand out. You are right, it was a wonderful first house for you both and somehow it leaves a warm feeling in your mind to find that the buyers, like yourselves, were just as excited to be making the big move as you two were 7 years or something like that, ago.
