Inspiration from @hopewood_home (however everything she makes matches perfectly ️) Week 6 of Isolation for Ben & Belinda, Week 4 for Andrew- building Ben’s LEGO ️ The dogs were very keen to help us with our workout! These two ️️ We played pass the drawing tonight 🤣️ Thanks @artforkidshub So this happened yesterday 🙁. Ben phones me about 10am saying he fell over in PE (tripped on those long legs). He had seen the nurse and she said he was ok. The nurse bandaged his wrist. He did ask to come home but since the nurse said all was good I suggested he would be ok to stay at school especially since there was a history exam. Poor BEN stayed at school all day and I have been crowned ‘Mother of the Year 🤦🏻‍♀️’. The doctor took one look at it and said it is fractured but let’s get an X-ray to confirm. Ben was very happy about missing out on PE at school for the next few weeks. However I reminded him he needs both hands to play his clarinet. You should have seen his face…..poor guy was gutted! Let’s hope the next 3-4 weeks pass quickly. Having some fun carving ️ Perfect time to start building some of this LEGO! There may also be a secret LEGO Star Wars stash hidden for Ben’s birthday in a few weeks. When the world returns to normal you may find our apartment has turned into a LEGO fortress ️ A lovely friend found me a vintage tea towel of my birth year. I turned it into a cushion. It was a BEYBLADE battle in our house. Make sure the sound is on for the slow mo video. It sounds like a sword fight 🤣. Also I won in this video Ben is very spoilt here in Bangkok. We have domestic help so dishes, laundry, cleaning is not something he usually does. He does set and clear the table but that is the extent of it 😬. I am becoming concerned we are raising a son who won’t be able to look after himself……..So teach Ben domestic duties has begun. Tonight he washed some dishes. Two dishes in he says ‘Washing dishes is really boring’ 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️. Yep sounds like a normal 12 year old. Oh this will be fun!! Don’t let Molly fool you! She snuggles up close to Penny looking all cute and lovable……then steals the toy and runs away. Repurposed one of the vintage quilt tops I have in my sewing cupboard into this cute cushion ️ Instagram Image Molly is strange!!! She loves to jump down the back of the lounge cushions with a toy and go to sleep. We might have to start checking before we sit down . We will squish her!!! Dropped Ben of at his school residential (camp). Have a blast my not so little guy ️ Instagram Image Being sick in another country is tricky. Influenza A recently invaded our house (all on the mend now). Going to the doctors in Thailand is not like seeing your local GP at home. How we miss Dr Stieler! You go to the hospital here and because we don’t speak Thai the process is not always clear. I found it very difficult not to cry when I was given all this medication that I had no idea what it did. We didn’t take any of it except the flu antiviral and some panadol I already had a home. We really need to learn more Thai and stop living in our expat bubble!! My taxi and shopping Thai does not help at the hospital 🤣 An absolute treat!!! Our beautiful friends Yuko & Ren are heading home to Australia after 10 years in Bangkok. We will miss them. Good luck in Sydney xo It feels like the holidays this year with some of our favorite people in the world visiting!!!
